SCHEDULE

Young children are eager to learn how to follow their daily rhythm and how important routines are in their daily lives. At our center, our incredible teachers have created schedules for the different rooms. See below for a general example.

Adonis Blue

(Toddler & Preschool Room) 8am-4pm

7am ~ Arrival (teacher greeting in meeting area)
7-7:05am ~ Wash hands, unpack
7:05-7:15am ~ Table Toys / Manipulative Play
7:15-7:20am ~ Transition to breakfast (cleanup & wash hands/bathroom break)
7:20-7:50am ~ Breakfast (meal discussion, songs & charts)
7:50-8:am ~ Transition to circle time (cleanup & wash hands/bathroom break)
8-8:15am ~ Circle Time (good morning songs and discussion)
8:15-9:am ~ Small group activity & Centers
9-9:15am ~ Transition to neighborhood walk or play room (cleanup, bathroom break)
9:15-10am ~ Neighborhood walk or play room
10-10:15am ~ Transition to large group discussion
10:15-10:30am ~ Large group discussion (learning concepts)
10:30-10:50am ~ Large group activity
10:50-11am ~ Transition to lunch time (cleanup, bathroom break, wash hands, lunch prep helpers)
11-11:45am ~ Lunch time (meal discussion, songs & charts)
11:45am-12pm ~ Transition to story time (meal cleanup, bathroom break)
12-12:15pm ~ Story Time & Transition to nap time
12:15-1:15pm ~ Nap time (independent reading)
1:15-1:30pm ~ Transition to music and movement (cleanup, bathroom break)
1:30-1:50pm ~ Music & Movement
1:50-2:00pm ~ Transition to snack time (wash hands, snack prep helpers)
2-2:30pm ~ Snack time (meal discussion, songs & charts)

2:30-2:45pm ~ Transition to dismissal (cleanup, wash hands, and bathroom break)
2:45-3pm ~ Dismissal (goodbye songs and discussion)

We ask that parents also follow our schedule. Please drop off and pick up during appropriate times.
For late drop off or early dismissal please contact your child’s teacher, prepare appropriate documentation, and sign early dismissal form. Thank you

Emerald Swallowtail

(After School Room) 2-6pm

2-2:20pm ~ School pick-up
2:20-2:30pm ~ Transition to after school (walk from school)
2:30-2:35pm ~ Wash hands, large group discussion
2:35-2:45pm ~ Transition to snack (meal helpers)
2:45-3:15pm ~ Snack
3:15-3:25pm ~ Transition to H.W. help (clean up, wash hands)
3:25-4:25pm ~ Homework help (quiet time)
4:25-4:35pm ~ Transition to outdoor/indoor play
4:35-5:25pm ~ Outdoor/indoor play
5:25-5:45pm ~ Small group activities
5:45-5:55pm ~ Transition to dismissal (cleanup helpers)
5:55-6pm ~ Dismissal

We ask that parents follow our schedule and pick up at the appropriate time.
